TOEFL test is to demonstrate one’s English-language proficiency. The average English skill level ranges between Intermediate to Advanced. During the test, you are asked to perform tasks that combine your English communication skills, such as:
- Listen, Read and then speak in response to a question
- Listen and then speak in response to a question
- Listen, Read and then write in response to a question
TOEFL SCORE: Total Score ranges from 0 to 120
- Reading Section (Score of: 0–30)
- Listening Section (Score of: 0–30)
- Speaking Section (Score of: 0–30)
- Writing Section (Score of: 0–30)
THE TOTAL TEST TIME IS AS BELOW:
The TOEFL IBT test takes about four hours to complete. At minimum, the TOEFL IBT will last three hours and ten minutes. At maximum, it will take four hours and twenty minutes. The length varies because the Reading section can take from Sixty to Hundred minutes, and the Listening section ranges from Sixty to Ninety minutes.
- Reading – 60-80 minutes
- Listening – 60-90 minutes
- Break – 10 minutes
- Speaking – 20 minutes
- Writing – 50 minutes
- The TOEFL test has over 50 test dates per year at authorized test centres around the world.
- You can retake the test as many times as you wish, but you cannot take it more than once in a 12-day period.
- If you already book a test, you cannot register for another test that is within twelve days of your existing test date.
